Sending materials

Сhecklist of preparing material for sending

As part of sending process, the authors must verify compliance of their material with all the following points, and materials can be returned to the authors if they do not meet these requirements.
  • This material has not been published previously and has not been submitted for review and publication in another journal (or explanation of this is given in comments for the editor).
  • The file with the material is presented in the format of the document of OpenOffice, Microsoft Word or RTF.
    Full Internet addresses are given (URL) for links where possible.
  • The text is typed with single line space; 12 font size is used; Italics, not underlining (Excluding URLs ), are used to highlight; all illustrations, graphs and tables are located in the appropriate places in the text, not at the end of the document.
  • The text meets stylistic and bibliographic requirements, described in the Guidance for authors.

Guidance for authors

Articles submission guidelines.

1. The article should be submitted to the editor in the electronic version to email address: journal@aouz.uz
2. Original articles should be built according to the plan, traditional for the world scientific periodicals: structured by sections ― introduction, purpose of the study, materials and methods, results and discussions, shall be completed with concrete conclusions, in which in a concise form (by paragraphs) the results of work and suggestions of the authors, arising from outlined material, are outlined
3. The title page should contain: title of the article, surname, name, middle name (completely) of each author with indication of organization, position, academic degree and rank; contact information for publication in the public domain for communication between readers and the author (e-mail); abstract and keywords in Uzbek, Russian English (at least 10). Abstract structure: no more than 250 words (each abstract is prepared in 3 languages ― Uzbek, Russian and English), which consists of the following parts, i.e. introduction, purpose of the study, materials and methods, results and discussions and conclusions.
4. The text of the article is accepted in Word Document or RTF format, font size 12 with spacing 1, 5, Times New Roman, margins 2,0 cm, hyphenation shall not be done. The volume of the article, including tables and literature, should be within the limit of 20,000 characters (10 А4 pages). All pages must be numbered.
5. The text of the article, all the quotes should be carefully verified by the author, checked by the original sources, have references to them with the indication of the page and year of publication, as the editorial office does not send proof sheet.
6. Only conventional abbreviations (acronyms) should be used.
7. No abbreviations should be applied in the title of the article. The full term, which is replaced by an abbreviation, should be deciphered at the first mention of it in the text (standard units and symbols do not require deciphering). Tables should have name, be compact, visual, titles of columns should correspond to their content, have links in the text. All the numbers in the tables must be consistent with the numbers in the text.
8. Measurement units of physical values, hematological, biochemical and other indicators of values, used in medicine, should be presented in units of the metric system (International Units System — SI).
9. Files of drawings, graphs, photos with captions should be presented separately from the article. TIFF, JPEG formats are acceptable for the journal layout with compression factor of at least 8 with resolution 300 dpi with the size no less than 6 х 9.
10. Hyperlinks are not allowed in the text.
11. Bibliography must be given at the end of the article and issued in accordance with GOST R 7.0.5-2008, only reference number in brackets should be specified in the text itself. References are numbered in a citation order. The author is responsible for the bibliography accuracy. The total volume of literature review should not exceed more than 30 sources.
12. All articles, submitted to the editorial office, are subject to multi-stage review, and reviewers' comments are sent to the author without naming reviewers. After receiving reviews and replies from the author, the editorial board decides to publish (or reject) the article.
13. The editorial board reserves the right to reject the article without giving a reason. Rejected manuscripts are not returned to the authors. Priority of publishing articles is set in accordance with the editorial plan of the journal publication.
14. The editorial board of the journal reserves the right to shorten and edit article materials, regardless of their scope, including changes in the title of articles, terms, and definitions. Small corrections of stylistic, nomenclature or formal nature are made to the article without the author's approval. If the article was reworked by the author in preparation for publication, the date of receipt was the date of receipt of the final text.
